Why is Central African Republic’s economy so dependent on the country’s central bank?

CARACas central bank issued a note to the public on February 1 urging citizens to vote for the candidate who best reflects their needs and values.

The note was signed by the Central Bank of Central African States President Abdoulaye Doumbia.
