How to make sure you’re getting the right medicine at the right time

More than two dozen people were hospitalized after an incident at a central Ohio opioid facility that was linked to at least six deaths.

State investigators say they suspect a common problem at the facility is an inadequate supply of opioids to patients who need them.

In some instances, the medication is administered in an unapproved fashion or the doses are given in a way that creates a risk of overdose.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation says the deaths happened in the early morning hours of Dec. 8.

The investigation is continuing.
